Rain on the Monday blooms

There was a quick shower this morning, and now I can feel the sun breaking through.  We are moving into dry warm weather.  Almost 80 by the weekend. I thought I'd share a mostly silent morning view.

I'm cheating on this one, this is from Sunday - no rain.

I guess a good place to stop is the California poppy.

Have a great Monday.
I've been cleaning up outside, moving things around but the pictures aren't very fun.

  2. The dew is lovely. Fabulous photos of vibrant, healthy blooms! :)

  3. Raindrops on flowers are pretty as long as the passing system doesn't smash the flowers into the mud (as some of the recent storms have done here). It doesn't look like we'll see any rain again for at least 10 days, although a thick morning marine layer is expected Tuesday and Wednesday to be followed, unfortunately, by the nasty Santa Ana winds - at least everything is hopefully still moist enough to hold off wildfire activity.

    1. It was a short soft mister of rain, really nice. Mostly sunny for the remainder. We'll be dry here too for the 10 days. Dang it, Santa Ana winds - ugh!

Will be dry and Santa Ana windy here too. :( Yuck.

    1. Thursday should be windy here as well, I hope the Santa Ana winds aren't too nuts! *I dislike the wind, too!

  5. Tracy, I don't think I've seen so many different flowers in your garden before! The daisies are so beautiful and refreshingly white as your days begin to warm, especially with the added raindrops. Just beautiful. <3

    1. Thank you Jo! My front garden is mostly perennial and has been asleep the past few months.

  7. I like the cherry red flowers on the cactus. Is it a Rebutia?
